How I Used A Secured Credit Card To Improve My Credit Scores 2

First I want to thank all of the people who watched and commented on the first edition of How to raise scores using a secure card. I did that video several years ago. Since I did that video I receive phone calls from all over the US asking me various questions about the strategy. The one question that seems to dominate is how much of a balance should be left on the secure card. In this current update of the video, I took the time to be a little more specific about the strategy. So hopefully it clears up any questions the first video did not.
In this video I describe how I used a secure credit card to improve my credit scores. Yes, my credit suffered substantially in 2008 & 2009 when the mortgage industry was in turmoil. I like many of you had to make some tough choices. I had to prioritize who I was going to pay, and who I was not going to pay.
This video explains one of the best things you can do to have a positive impact on your credit scores.
Do you need to pay your bills on time, yes! Do you need to possibly open a 2nd or even 3rd card? Yes.
You can get a 30-50 point boost from one card, but to build up a credit score to over 700, you need some time and consistency in keeping your revolving credit levels low compared to the limits you have.
I encourage you to follow the steps in this video. if you do everything I told you, I assure you that your score will go up.

There may be other things that may need to be handled...collections charge-offs, judgments, BK, and foreclosure, but this is secure card strategy is where you start.
Here is the other video I did about this subject a couple years ago.
