Twisted Fork is Better Than Ever!

Have you ever knew a restaurant that was average, but as result of a third party mistake, experienced a dramatic setback, just to come later back better than ever?

This is the story of Twisted Fork in Reno, NV.

The restaurant business is difficult enough, but as many ingredients are supplied by third party suppliers, controlling quality and food safety is challenging. Luckily, Twisted Fork was not only cautious, they were above cooperative with health officials when E.Coli infection was traced back to the restaurant last year. The owners shot the restaurant down for a month, helped officials test every surface and products, just to find out that the dessert responsible for the outbreak came from another local food producer.

Twisted Fork reopened, but even now, after many months, many people are afraid to return. The restaurant prides itself on offering quality ingredients and the fresh making of the dishes, and now I am sure they will make their own dessert too!

I went back twice since the incident and must admit, to me the food tastes better than ever.

First time, I had a mozzarella, tomato and basil panini - Yummy!

The second time, I chose the lunch special that was amazing! I even took a picture! Enjoy!

That's a tough break for a restaurant. I certainly hope the locals give this place another try. They did what they needed to do to correct any problems and shouldn't have to continue to suffer.
