Champlin is snugly located near the Mississippi River between Anoka, Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park. The city of Champlin is within Hennepin County and has over 24,000 people. The Champlin location makes it easy for commuting with major highways 169 running North and South and Highway 610 running East and West, commuters also access highway 81 as an alternate route. Champlin is a typical mid-west area with all four seasons to enjoy. The city of Champlin offers plenty to do for every age range, gymnastics, ice rinks, library, LifeTime Fitness, Target, fast food, sit down restaurant, Splash pad at Andrew's Park, Elm Creek Park Reserve, Northland Skate Park, the Champlin Movie theater and lots of walking or biking trails.

The community of Champlin is generally a small town feel, a place where neighbors are friends and most will go out of their way to lend a hand. The city of Champlin also does a lot for the community with many free events in the parks which include a movie night in Andrew's Park and more. 

There is a city-wide garage sale and Father Hennepin days which includes rides for the kids, outdoor bands, and contests.

Elm Creek Parkway has access to the Parkview neighborhood and  169 and Highway 610 for easy commuting. The Parkview neighborhood is also just a couple miles from the Elm Creek Park Reserve. Elm Creek Park Reserve has something for everyone to enjoy even in all seasons.
