The Spring housing market is in full swing in our beautiful Westlake Village community. This time of year is one of my favorite as trees are in full bloom and even with the California drought the rain that we had has made the hillsides green and brought out the seasonal wild flowers that we all enjoy.
As many in the area are enjoying this Spring vacation season there are many who are calling about buying a home and Westlake Village is one of the communites in our area that has a special appeal to those considering a move to what we locals call "The Conejo Valley."
There are many beautiful surrounding communities and all have a special appeal. Westlake Village has a robust energy with many new shopping areas with exciting shops, restaurants and entertainment.
When we receive calls from potential home buyers for the Westlake Village area most have heard about the community from either friends who live here or possibly from just driving past this beautiful area.
We are located minutes to Malibu, a short drive North to Santa Barbara and an easy commute to Los Angeles which adds to the appeal of this area. Also, there are homes and townhomes in all price ranges, currently ranging in prices from $365,000 to $44M. We have gated communities, waterfront homes and townhomes, golf course homes, large sprawling lots and small patio home lots as well as vacant land in which to build a home however land is priced at a premium and is less available.
Having sold real estate in the local area for well over 2 decades I have watched this area change and grow yet still keep the serene ambiance of a suburban area.
