Startling Facts!

Mortgage and Lending with National Credit Fixers - Matt Listro

I read an article recently that shared some amazing statistics on Realtors:

-65% of all agents are part-timers

-According to the Women’s Council of Realtors-45% of all Agents don’t have a database

-50% of all agents who come into the field are gone within a year, 75% within 2 years!

So how does one fight these odds? By keying in on 3 big items and sticking to it:

  1.            Commit to the business. Nothing worth doing is worth doing with half-hearted effort. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing well. You are not giving your careers a chance if you never take the chance and step out in faith. Part-timers can not possibly provide the value added service needed to succeed!
  2.             Use a Database. I work with Top Producing Realtors all the time and ALL of them have a database that they continuously mine AND follow up religiously. They are not top producers because they are gifted or special or have a big billboard-they are top producers because the work a database and follow up with all leads(something we can handle for you for FREE-more on that in a minute.)
  3.            Don’t quit. Don’t ever quit. You can’t win the game when you quit. I know it may be hard for you right now-but if you just focus on the basics like calls, follow ups, database marketing, etc. you CAN succeed!

Also, Happy Easter everyone :)

Real estate is a business that needs daily activity to be successful.  The attrition rate for agents is high as many get into the business and have no idea as to how hard it really is.
