Enjoy the beauty of springtime in Roswell at the 2nd Annual Roswell Azalea Festival. The festival runs from April 11 – 30, 2016 and includes a wide array of events. Here are just a few events you’ll want to consider:
- The Chattahoochee Nature Center will be holding several events on a daily basis including the Georgia Nature Photography Exhibit, Azalea Self-Guided Tour and Scavenger Hunt and Azaleas at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. These shrubs are now spectacular and put on a show from early spring to late summer.
- Students of The Cottage School Artwork exhibit daily at Roswell Visitors Center.
- Roswell Photographic Society Art Exhibit daily at Roswell Cultural Arts Center
- Garden Tour Mondays at Barrington Hall from 9-11am on April 11th, 18th and 25th
- Opening Champagne Reception for the Azalea Festival Invitational Art. Hosted by Bank of North Georgia in their beautiful Atrium on April 12th from 6-8pm
- Azalea Festival High Tea at Bulloch Hall on April 13th
- Run The River 5K/10K fun run/walk, great for serious and casual runners, walkers, and families. Scenic run along the river, flat and fast. Great post-race party with food, music, raffle prizes on April 16th
- Spring Fling at Hembree Farm on April 16th. A great flea market with loads of fun and useful items from which to choose. Be sure to allow time to browse and you are sure to find something you just must have. Presented by Roswell Historical Society.
- ArtAround Roswell, A Sculpture tour. Sculpture is displayed in 10 outdoor locations throughout the city on April 16th.
- Opening Day Celebration & Ribbon Cutting at Roswell Farmers & Artisans Market on April 16th
- Azalea Festival Invitational Golf Tournament to benefit The Cottage School on April 18th. This invitational golf tournament will be held at Brookfield Country Club, 100 Willow Run, in Roswell, GA. Shotgun Start at 12 noon.
- Garden Faire at Bulloch Hall on April 30th from 9am to 3pm. Presented by the North Fulton Master Gardeners. Free, on the grounds of Bulloch Hall. Coffee, baked goods, fleatique, informational speakers, vendors, musical entertainment, plant & garden-related vendors, Pass-Along-Plant sale and flats ready to sell.
- Roswell Beer Festival on Saturday, April 30th from 12pm-6pm at the Historic Roswell Town Square. Craft Beer Festival with food vendors, live music. Fundraiser for STAR House Foundation
- Roswell Azalea Festival Harvest Dinner at Smith Plantation Home Pavilion on April 30th. Local chefs present a delicious potluck-style dinner with live music, and silent auction. A foody event you will not want to miss!
