My first blog ever - anywhere

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Roper Real Estate
Here it goes - my first blog - if I can do it anyone can.  I've got a real estate agency, Roper Real Estate, in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.  This town could possibly be the most beautiful and peaceful area in the Northeast but only a relatively handful of people know about it and that's our problem.  I could go on about the town - it's ski area, no fast food places or neon, surrounded by mountains but I'll make it short.  We've advertised in New England but would like to market internationally in this global economy and wondered if anyone wanted to share their experiences.  We've got two listings in particular that are exceptional homes but in excess of one million.  One home was valued by an insurance assessor for over 2 million because of the fine custom carpentry (including hand-made furniture to match the tiger maple inlaid floors).  You just don't find that everyday and it's on the market for $1,799,000.  Visitors love it but just don't want to pay for that type of craftsmanship.  Maybe Europeans would appreciate those details - and we're just 2 hours north of Boston Logan and one 1-1/4 hours north of Manchester airport.  This first blog isn't entertaining but I'm at the office and it's what's on my mind.  Hello to all who read it - Terry

Thanks to all that have responded -  I am learning a bit - just started to research the site "deeplylinked.com" that was mentioned in a blog and put my web link on a New Hampshire directory (I think) - it's an adventure for me.  Took my grandson (age 4) for a walk in the woods today - just following trails here & there - to me it's just like tripping through this blogisphere.
