It is Monday morning and it is raining outside. I am sitting here in the "Rain". I write because this is how I keep stuff in my head organized. Another week begins. (Well realtors dont get the weekend off).
I am curious. Fellow Rainers is writing therapeutic or more for the education of others? Or is it a combination of things?

Kevin, It's a combo for me. Primarily it's to gain business, but I also enjoy blogging. It's a nice change of pace from my engineering work and allows me the option of doing something different on a daily basis. Bill

Thank you for the words of encouragement. The fear of writing where others will see is how it will be received. I think that our perception of how we see ourselves and how others see us can be very different.
I write to share knowledge, to educate, to make a point, to learn things, but mostly for the pleasure of it. After I started writing on ActiveRain, I found that I so enjoyed it I started writing books. That has been a lot of fun. But to write in the Rain is to gain and share knowledge, and to be a part of the community.

I like to write too. On rainy days I do that but I also call people I know for "friendly" chats then remind them I am a Realtor and ask for leads.
