A Defeat . . . . is a Temporary Condition

A Defeat . . . . is a Temporary Condition

“A man is not finished when he defeated;

he’s finished when quits.”

Richard M. Nixon 1913 -1994, 37th President of

the United States

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A defeat . . . . is a temporary condition

Your attitude . . . . will determine how you view a defeat . . . . and how you will respond to the conditions that you encounter.

With a positive attitude . . .  . you will look at a defeat as a temporary condition . . . . You will look for the best way to bounce back . . . . and to move forward with positive momentum.

After a defeat . . . . you have a choice. You can dwell on the defeat . . . . and waste your time . . . . and energy focusing on the defeat.

Or you can focus your energy . . . . and efforts on seeking answers and solutions. You will find that this best and fastest way to work your way through a defeat is to move on . . . . and to continue your success journey.

You may get knocked down . . . . When you  do refuse to stay down get back up bush yourself off . . . . and push forward.

A defeat . . . . is a temporary condition. Reengage . . . . and move forward you put the defeat behind you.

President Richard Nixon is the perfect example of this quote... he did not quit until he became President... sadly President Clinton listened to his words and did not quit when he was about to be impeached.... go figure and President Nixon quit... Endre

Lou, success is built upon experiencing and overcoming defeat; and attitude has all the world to do with the ultimate outcome.

Hi Lou Ludwig I have a differnet definition of defeat. If you don't get back up, you are defeated. But if you do get back up it is only a set-back.

So true.  Defeat is only permanent when you let it be so!  Likewise, victory can be a one time thing if you celebrate it too long!
