The annual Art on the Chattahoochee Art Market will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Jones Bridge Park in Peachtree Corners. The free event gives parents a chance to check out artwork while their children get to try their own hand at being creative. Since 2012, the Art on the Chattahoochee Fine Art Market has attracted thousands of visitors to peruse the work of outstanding artists from North Georgia.
Art on the Chattahoochee is a delightful, fine art event at a unique venue along the Chattahoochee River in Jones Bridge Park. The event brings together outstanding artists throughout North Georgia in a fine art market highlighting their talent. The art market will feature artwork from more than 40 artists displaying oil paintings, sculptures, metalwork, hand crafted jewelry, special commissioned pieces, and hand crafted items. The event features a shaded Food Court area, an interactive Kid’s Craft Corner, as well as all the park amenities!
This year, the event kicks off with a Fun Run for $10 and a 5K Trail Run for $20. Attendees can shop unique works from local artists and crafters, see live entertainment, watch artists demonstrations, enjoy tasty cuisine from food trucks, play in the Budding Arts Kids Zone with crafts, games, inflatables and more. There will be a Kids Chalk Art Contest with prizes for the kids.
