Our high cost of homes and high real estate taxes are driving retirees out of the area. Florida is the primary beneficiary of the transfer of wealth issues in Maryland.

This is happening in many parts of the country and people are unhappy. It is just more expensive to run a locality.

Property owners should attend the meeting to voice their opinion on the tax increase.

Good luck and success.

I hate news of increasing property taxes.  They are especially hard on retirees, and those on fixed incomes!

Nobody like to hear that taxes are going up. It is important for citizens to show up at these meetings and be heard.

The sounds of this Monday morning in Kentlands are the calls of the mourning doves and the chorus of songbirds. Have a great day and an outstanding week!
