During the summer of 2015, my girlfriend Amanda and I started the house hunt for our first home. We found the house of our dreams after a couple of months and submitted our best offer. We submitted all information the bank needed only to find out (1 week before closing) that my status in the USA ( a TN visa ) is not accepted by the underwriter. Everything fell apart. I had searched the internet endlessly to find a solution that might save our deal. I found David Krichmar that wrote about Canadians being approved for home loans in Texas. We gave him a call and we chatted about my situation and at the time he knew how to fix my situation but could not be my lender due to being in a different state. The deal fell apart, we had a lot of unpacking to do.
Fast forward to January of this 2016, we contacted Dave with the hopes that he knew someone that could lend to Canadians in Michigan, he informed us that he was now able to lend in Michigan, we were ecstatic! It only took a couple weeks and a lot of home walk-throughs to find the home we absolutely loved. We submitted an offer that was approved right away and we began the process once again. We were very nervous due to our first situation with home buying. But everything went as smooth as it could have, and we are now moved into the home of our dreams. We could not ask for any better service from Dave. He was so easy to deal with and we could contact him any time we had questions, he assured us that everything was okay every step of the way. Thank you, Dave. Without you and your hard work and dedication, we would definitely not have even started house hunting, let along be moved into the home we love.
