“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” – Steve Jobs
This quote holds true to every facet of one’s life (work, personal, health, etc…) I have had some major highs and lows in the last 7 months that have tested my patience & self worth; not to mention my faith. I’ve learned a lot about myself through this time and have come to terms that you can continue to dwell on the “what if(s)” life throws at you but nothing will change your mindset other than yourself. It’s so true when they say “Just when you think your world is falling apart, it’s actually falling together”. I have a lot to be thankful for – AMAZING family and friends to whom I owe so much to, a fresh outlook on what truly is important in this lifetime and a second chance I only hold the keys to. It’s my choice to let this second chance pass me by or live it to its fullest and I choose to live it. I do know this, God has always had my best interest at heart but at times I’ve not listened which has led me astray. But, sometimes the best lessons in life are learned the hard way. Always listen to your gut and never have regrets. I truly believe I am right where I need to be. Here’s to new beginnings and this amazing journey called life
