I may have a sore 'A..' urr I mean back side with this move
With spring having officially arrived in Sandpoint Idaho, not only on the calendar but weather as well, the summer activities are beginning. Many of the events for summer and fall are not the type of events you just decide the day before you want to join in and do.
Two such events are the "Chafe 150" and the "WaCanId Ride" bicycle rides, originating in Sandpoint as well as finishing at Sandpoint's City Beach. I will have more detailed posts for both rides in the near future. 'The Chafe 150' June 18th 2016, is a single day ride of 150 miles with an 80 and 30 also. The WaCanId, September 12 thru 17th 2016, is a 371 mile ride around the International Selkirk Loop that is 6 days total with a layover in Nelson BC.
I want to ride the WaCanId and thought it a good idea to see what 75 to 100 miles would feel like at the end of the day. So I have signed up for the Chafe 150. I am doing the 80 miles. Thought that would be plenty considering have not been on a bike for more than 10 miles and that was 2 years ago with no biking 20 years before that.
So yes I do believe the 'backside' may be a bit sore with this decision.
