With temperatures slowly rising here in East Tennessee, the spring and summer months are just around the corner. In the coming weeks we can expect people to begin taking advantage of the lighter weather and getting outdoors after a long winter. In addition to numerous year-round events, Jonesborough hosts several ongoing events from April through October, such as live storytelling, movie

Kicking off the action on April 6th is Music on the Square Spring Tune Up, which features music, a live auction, food and beverages. Continuing throughout the warmer months, Jonesborough will host various activities such as sampling excellent cuisine from local restaurants and bakeries at Taste of Jonesborough, finding second hand treasures at the town-wide yard sale, indulging in a weekend of family fun at Wetlands Water Park, enjoying music, 
activities and games while supporting The American Cancer Society at the Jonesborough Relay for Life, and, of course, participating in public celebrations of Memorial and Labor Day.
Also, don’t forget to mark your calendars and take part in Jonesborough’s historic story at the annual Jonesborough Days Festival - a patriotic celebration from June 30-July 2 featuring a parade, live music, fireworks, storytelling, craft vendors, children’s entertainment and much more.
