There were 151 recorded housing units sold in February 2016, and this was a climb of 31.3% in contrast to the same month 2015. Year to date the number of reported houses sold was up 11.9% relative to 2015, with 253 reported houses sold total this year. In February 2016 there was an uptick of 47.5% in projected home sales. There were 170 projected home sales total this month. The number of projected real estate sales year to date in Carrollton was higher 20.2%, with 272 projected real estate sales total this year. In February 2016 there was an improvement of 22.1% in new properties listed in Carrollton. There were 188 new properties listed total this month. Year to date there was an uptick of 15% in newly listed properties. There were 367 newly listed properties this year. In February 2016 the number of contract listings showed an improvement of 23.7% from February last year, with 162 listed on a contract total. Year to date contract listings experienced an uptick of 21.9% relative to February 2015, with 328 under contract total this year. In Carrollton there were 0.9 approximate months supply of inventory in February 2016, which was a drop of 13.2%. In February 2016 there was a decline of 12.9% in houses for sale. There were 162 houses for sale total this month. The number of days on market until sale in Carrollton in February 2016 saw a decline of 20% from February last year, with 29 days on market until sale this month. In Carrollton the total percent of original list price received this month underwent a growth of 0.3%, with 99.2 percent total. Year to date the number of percent of asking price received was 98.9 total, an increase of 0.5%.
