Keep in Touch = Future Closings
When you get a call off a sign, web site or a referral, how long do you stay in touch with those contacts if they don't buy or sell at that time? With sellers thinking the market is too fast paced and they won't be able to fina replacement home or the buyers fretful their job is at risk, how long do you keep them on your database?
Some families need to think about these monumental decisions for a while before taking the plunge, and some once the decision is formulated, they act on them.
Over the past several years I have had many potential buyers and sellers call wondering if was time for them, but never made that decision. These last couple of years a few of these potential clients have moved forward and closed. All you have to do is STAY IN TOUCH! Keep them aware of the market conditions, answer all of their questions and let them know you are still in the business. They will appreciate that, and when it is a good time for them, they will call YOU!
Keep these potential clients in your database (but they are not the A+, A or even B clients, but most will eventually turn into a sale! As soon as you stop checking in, they will find another agent and make a move right away!
