It's rare that I write posts about politics because it really does not contribute to anything positive unless the News is positive. This type of reporting tends to just stir up more anxiety, worry, confusion and anger in the collective consciousness of this world.
Many Long Islanders know the rally for Mr. Trump will be taking place at the Bethpage Grumman Studios at 7pm tonight April 6th, 2016. Unfortunately, his rallies of past have developed the reputation of creating unpredictable situations and at times ones that could become violent physically and emotionally.
It's great to voice your opinion and express yourself, yet if you are choosing to purposely degrade, use vulgar words and be physically aggressive, you need to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself, If I attend this rally will I be contributing anything good or just perpetuating more anger within my self and/or towards others?
Whether you support Mr.Trump or not, as a Native Long Islander I am asking my fellow residents to please,.... DO NOT USE PHYSICAL OR VERBAL VIOLENCE to express your feelings, thoughts and concerns. Be proud of where you come from, hold yourself at a higher standard and be a leader and positive example for our children, fellow neighbors on Long Island and neighboring States. Don't be pulled into the hype.
