It is hard to do it justice Sheila Anderson in a photo but I think mine captures some of the essence of its color.

Now that is something that can take your breath away! The sedimentary rock formations bring out the most beautiful natural colors! Love the textures too!
You are so right Patricia Feager - I think that the rock formations are a perfect landscape to showcase the colors that have transformed the grand canyon over time!

The color range is the most amazing of it all. It just takes my breath away. I don't like heights much so maybe that is part of it too.
