In the land of Sun & Fun.....

Everyday I wake up happy knowing there will be an excellent chance of sun skies with balmy temperatures. I am a person that is pretty much ruled by my environment. As a kid in Upstate NY when the dark days began to fall right after summer so did my mood. I wouldn't surface to the "normal" me until late Spring. "They" didn't have a name for that back then.

When I made my move to the Sun & Fun capital of the USA I miraculously became happy all the time.

I am right there with you.  Gloomy days make me cranky.  Luckily I live in a state with 300 days of sunshine (even if some of them are filled with snow)!

Marco, isn't it amazing what the Florida sunshine can do for our moods?! For me, this is one of the reasons that Naples was recently rated as the happiest place to live in the United States!

Love your weather, as I'm a sun person here in the desert, too!  I think those warm, light, and bright days really can impact your mood, as you wrote Marco Giancola!!  And I do love the ocean and miss that from living in CA!!  Today is '82' here, and yesterday was '91'.  They are forecasting 20 - 50% chance of storms over the next 7 days - we are always doing the Rain Dance here, so hopefully there will be rain the valley!

Hi Chris Ann Cleland do what I do -go visit the season you like! I hit Upstate NY in autumn for the leaves hay rides apples all that stuff then come back to the beach!

I have a favorite range for temps.  It's between 72 and 82.  I could live in that range year round and it wouldn't hurt my feelings.
