End of March 2016 Market Update
Taylor, TX 76574
As March came to a close so did 19 listings! Home prices have continued to appreciate and there are no signs which indicate a slow down. Demand still proves to be very strong as 31 homes during the month went "Pending Sale" compared to only 26 New Listings coming to market. As you can see lack of inventory is continuing to drive prices upward. The question becomes, how long is it before people moving to and living in Taylor are no longer willing to pay the historic prices homes are being sold for today!
Currently, there are only 12 homes in Taylor for sale, which, come with under 1 acre of land. The average age of the homes is about 50 Years Old. They also average about 1,791 sq. ft. and are listed for $104.38 per sq. ft. or $185,887. The homes currently on the market still today have been listed for about 42 Days! What the data is speaking to is most of the homes on the market have been overlooked for various reasons. We know this because 18 out of 31 homes in "Pending" status lasted 10 days or less!
