Maine Winters and Moving South

Real Estate Agent with ReMax By the Bay
This past winter was one of the most challenging I have ever experienced. At one point, while sitting in a parking lot in North Windham, staring at a 20 foot snow bank, I had  the thought that this was the first time I actually might consider moving south for the winter. I am sure many others have had similar feelings. Conversations that followed reinforced many were thinking that this was the year they would start to investigate what might be out there. With that in mind, I contacted a Re/Max agent in Sarasota.  She said every time the winters are bad in our part of the country, their business picks up.  My association with Linda Starcher of Re/Max Alliance has been fun and interesting. I have created a Sarasota connection on my website to allow access directly to her properties. I have also posted on my website 2 featured homes. During a recent visit to Longbaot Key, I was able to meet Linda. She informed me that her sales are going well and if homes are priced right and with good curb appeal, they will sell. Check out my website at http:// www.mainelakehomesrealestate.com to view what is currently available. And if you should decide to take the plunge and need to sell your home in Maine, please give me a call at 207-553-7305 at my office at Re/Max By the Bay. Best time in years to purchase Florida homes. Don't get caught in another Maine winter!
