Five out of 7 days a week are devoted to strength training for me complemented with cardio. My main focus is on strength training. I'll be 70 in a few months and to avoid the "osteo dilemma" I focus on strength. Most women just do aerobic/cardio routines and complement that with very light strength routines.
I was 310 pounds 3 years ago, and now I weigh 128.5 pounds with very little body fat and alot of muscle and definition. I worked very hard to reach this goal. I reached it a year ago and have improved it.
Sundays are my "extreme day of strength training." Here are a few photos to give you an idea of what I actually do at the YMCA every day (and sometimes twice a day!)
One looks their "worst" when working out, but the results are always "good."
My eating habits are easy to follow:
I boil my meat...chicken and/or beef
A simple lifestyle. I eat "very clean."
I've never felt healthier....and the best part is that I fit into a size 2 Petite from a 28 !!!
