I am in the beginning edge of the Millennial Generation (those born between 1977-1998). My generation desires Authentic Community. Translation = My identity is wrapped up in authentic relationships and not individualism.
As Real Estate professionals, we must connect with Millenials. We must listen to their hearts and hear their "rhythms." This skill of engaged listening must be learned and practiced.
A good example of a Real Estate agent that I know in Boise who is engaging is Lindsay Dofelmier (http://activerain.com/linzdof). She Rocks! She can relate to Millenials well. Not just becase she one, but because of her positive attitude. She feels her clients' needs. She walks her talk. She cares more about people than money. She is "other centered." Her attitude is more important than her aptitude.
