Spring is blooming in Kentlands

Life is better when there are flowers to photograph.

 

Dolores and I live in Kentlands, a neo-traditional community in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  This area is part of the Maryland suburbs of the District of Columbia.  Kentlands is great for photowalking.  The homes are pretty and there are many flowers among the white picket fences that are common in the neighborhood.

Be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the colors of the season.

Roy, spring time is the best with the blooms popping up everywhere.  I was surprised yesterday to get to the back yard and the tulips were not affected by the 19" of snow last weekend!

Hi, Roy. Thanks for sharing your wonderful flower pictures. We are still in a typical CO spring. 

Today the winds were so high the dogs didn't want to play at the dog park. Then I came home and found out the winds had blown the gutters off the front side of my house. I did an inspection around the rest of the house. Thankfully everything else is OK. 

It was a rough day with the winds.
