My 2016 - 100 day Checkup and Challenge,
After 5 years of "Elkhart County Subdivisions", on January 1, 2015 we added the AKA "Friends & Neighbors Real Estate" to improve our branding and further identify our business. After wrapping our cars to match our branding, we were set to make 2016 a banner year. The beginning of 2016 marked the start of an increased Social Media presence and web sites targeted to our interests.
Evelyn has jumped into the Home Construction arena, in order to guide new home buyers through the process. www.HomeConstruction.com and with more interest in lake properties, we now have the website www.SimontonLakeHomesForSale.com for those wanting to own property on Simonton Lake, north of Elkhart and www.FriendsAndNeighborsRealEstate.com we can service the rest of the area.
The addition of Mike T Parson , has added to the presence of Friends & Neighbors Real Estate in the southern part of Elkhart County, taking on Kosciusko and LaGrange Counties with Stephanie Baker serving Middlebury, Bristol and northeastern Elkhart County. Kim Stanley has Goshen, Nappanee, Wakarusa, western Elkhart County and eastern St. Joseph County, including Osceola and Mishawaka. Evelyn Johnston , managing broker and I both work in all areas, as where needed. With a trial period for the first part of the year, it should be a positive experience for all of the agents.
Since all of the agents have Listing and Pending Sales, except me, this is an area I need to improve on, to keep up with the rest of the group. Not that I am not working, I have taken on the duties of placing signs and removing signs for all of the listings, in order to keep track of inventory and to save the fee for the agents, as we don't charge for them. In addition to attracting buyers and sellers, for Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties, I have an active roll in showing homes for the agents, when they are not available for specific time periods. The clients are pleased to know that we are working together as a team for their best interests, especially when there is a moments notice request for a showing.
With everything in place, 2016 should be a very good year for,
Friends & Neighbors Real Estate, as well as my own sales.
