By
Real Estate Agent with Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty

Throwback Thursday to my original "Whale Tale" series where real life real estate situations meet with popular fairy tale concepts in a unique spin.

This version features that an agent is experienced in dealing with foreclosures & short sales and assists her buyers through the transaction worry free, so all the buyer has to do is live happily ever after!

Great to hear that the real estate agent was experienced in the real world of foreclosures, short sales, bank-owned, etc.  Still recall way back there when the story was not so 'happily ever after.'  Hahaha ~  Everyone was trying to learn the ropes as quickly as possible.

Down Orlando way, it would have been so wonderful to have money and bid on these properties. It certainly was a time where the phrase,  "Looking for a great deal,' had to be one of the most frequestly used phrases.  I still recall where one home had 135 offers and went into the next step:  everyone give us your best offer...  and not an especially spectaculaar home, either...   Still recall that our inventory was so high...and so many home owners broken hearted - losing their homes....  Listing agents sat around many a table where there were tears....      Ellen, I like your story better.
