No, I’m not talking about a real gun or advocating you should be ready to use one but did you ever equate a gun and ammunition to listing a home?
If not, think about it! I had the privilege of listening to Katie Rossi, Executive Vice President for the Southeast region for NRT at our Coldwell Banker United Awards ceremony and what an amazing lady she is! So much spunk, practical experience and information to sift through after her presentation!
I liked her analogy that as agents we are similar to a gun and our ammunition is our information…very true. Knowledge of the market area we serve is what will help us achieve salable listings.
You must put your big ears on when meeting with clients. They will communicate what is important and you have to be listening in order to service their needs. Most sellers expect guidance from a professional through the listing and selling process. In addition to exhibiting market knowledge and area success it’s important for them to have confidence and understanding of your systems and a proven solution to getting their home sold. If you expect to take on the role of a business and marketing manager you need all of your ammunition ready to prove you are the agent of choice!!
