College Station Earth Day 2016 Festivities

Real Estate Agent with Cortiers Real Estate

Some of the festivities scheduled for College Station Earth Day 2016 include live demonstrations, a Kids Zone, live music, food and a rubber duck derby. We take it for granted that Earth Day is celebrated every year.  However, back in 1970, taking time out to contemplate how to nurture instead of destroy the environment was a novel concept.  The idea of recycling, solar energy and electric cars were not in the public vernacular for the most part.  Today, reducing our carbon footprint is on the minds of the majority of people in the world.  College Station Earth Day 2016 offers many eco-friendly ideas that you can implement in your day-to-day activities.
