Boy Did I Get A Wrong Number
I have a client that owns a house in a Dallas suburb. He wants to sell it.
He REALLY wants to sell it.
He might sell it to a relative that lives in the neighborhood.
But, then again, he might not.
Personally, I think it is out of the reach of my client's cousin. He
offered to pay ALL CASH but it all depends on the price.
Doesn't it always?
But I think his number and my client's number are miles apart. I know
this because I have talked to each of them about this.
I reached out to a broker in the area that I thought that I knew.
I left a voice-mail message last Friday.
There might have been a referral in it for him.
By Tuesday afternoon I still hadn't heard back so I called again. This
time I got a "text" that he couldn't talk, so text him.
I did.
He still didn't take my call. He text-ed back that he didn't know who I
was.
Oh well.
I guess I don't know him, either.
BOTTOM LINE: NO REFERRAL.
Boy did I get a wrong number.
I think this guy needs to read Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland 's recent post about
telephone etiquette.
What do you think?
