The 12th Annual Barefoot in the Park, A Fine Artist Market with Performances and Flavors returns to Gwinnett County on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10am-6pm and Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 10am-5pm. Barefoot in the Park has a wonderful new location in 2016 at Buford Town Park at the Buford Community Center & Theatre. Just 9 minutes from The Mall of GA full of restaurants, hotels and entertainment. Expect new abundant crowds, a family-friendly environment with an upscale vibe and shopping, shopping, shopping! It’s one of Greater Atlanta and Northeast Georgia’s most exciting, accessible spring arts events in an affluent, upscale neighborhood and surrounding communities.
They focus on educating our communities in the arts through a fun, approachable and a non-intimidating festival-like environment. Where everyone of all ages can come out and have fun. Don’t forget, it’s Mothers Day weekend, so bring mom and the family out to let her pick something original for her special day!
Barefoot in the Park includes Juried Fine Arts Market, Student Art Exhibit, Silent Auction, Great food, Craft Beer & Wine, Free Binder’s Learning Village with learning Classes and Demos and Live Performances all weekend! You will find great food, Beer and Wine provided by sponsor, Proof of the Pudding Catering.

Proceeds from Barefoot In The Park go to our Arts Education Scholarship Fund. Each year we provide scholarships to area fine visual and performing arts students. Since the beginning, The Arts Education Scholarship Fund has granted over $60,000 in arts scholarships awards. Barefoot in the Park is a 501(c)3 non-profit. All Donations are tax deductible.
