Produced in association with Major League Baseball (MLB, the oldest professional sports league in the USA), narrated by lifelong baseball lover Kevin Costner, and interviews with great players, scientists and historians, this film tries to discover who is the fastest pitcher ever. This is a new film that opened nationally on March 25th, and it comes to Downtown Howell just a month later. It is playing Apr 26 – May 1.
Take the opportunity to see this production in the Historic Howell Theatre in #DowntownHowell. Leave time before or after the film to shop or dine at some of the great local businesses. Not familiar with the area? No problem.
My restaurant recommendations include Diamond’s Steakhouse, 2FOG’s speakeasy-style pub, Moe’s Bar Bar Shop (a bar with good food that also has an attached barber shop – no lie!), or Cleary’s Pub. If you have time, stop in the Heart of Michigan, a little store that sells Michigan-made items. Like authentic U.P. pasties? They have them, made fresh daily by a Yooper that is transplanted to Howell.
