I used to have a 1-800 number but with cell phones I've found it totally unnecessary Milan What Not To Renovate - Milan B.

I never thought of a 1-800 number for my business. Most cellular carriers now offer free long distance and international clients can reach me easily with social media and chat applications. I'm sure everyone has a different opinion. Maybe a 1-800 might be a good number for a pre-recorded message or information about a property.
