Golf is my favorite active pasttime and I enjoy playing many various courses near Wenatchee, across the State and in the Southwest during the winter months.
One of my very favorite courses ever is Bear Mountain Golf Resort, just 35 miles north of Wenatchee. Bear Mountain is not only a fun, yet challenging, course to play... it has fabulous views overlooking Lake Chelan from every single hole. So, even if you're having a bad game you can still enjoy the amazing beauty of the Lake Chelan Valley.
In the above image, the lake in the forground is on the golf course. Lake Chelan is in the distance. Many holes offer a much greater view of Lake Chelan, which is slightly over 55 miles long and 1486 feet deep in places.
Other entertaining golf courses in the Wenatchee area are:
Three Lakes Golf Course (my home course)
The Highlander Golf Course
Desert Canyon Golf Course
Leavenworth Golf Club
Wenatchee Golf & Country Club (by invitation)
Rock Island Golf Course
Come to the Wenatchee Valley and enjoy some great golf!
Have a Happy Day!
Carol
Good morning Carol Williams . I never could get into the game of golf. I know that a lot of folks really enjoy it as some country clubs in this area are beautiful.

Hi Michael,
I enjoy the camraderie and social aspect as much as the game of golf itself. Thanks for reading and commenting.
Golf is the most frustrating game I've ever played but I must admit, it was the beauty of the course and the serenity and peacefulness that kept me going back for many years.

It certainly can be frustrating, Roger. About the time I think I have it figured out the golf Gods send me a piece of humble pie. Thanks for reading and commenting. Have a great day!
Good morning Carol,
I have yet to get out to yell FORE like you and James Dray
Looks like a nice course to play.
Make yourself an astonishing day.

Hi Joan,
Yes, and the camraderie and social aspect is just as important to me as the game itself. Have a great day!
I stopped playing years ago, I just never got into it, but love the hear about the passion you have for the game.
I have ridden along several times and golf is such a peaceful game, a communion with nature. It's great exercise too.
