Deep in the Heart of Texas you can go hunting rattle snakes. Sound like fun?
The world’s largest (and oldest) rattlesnake roundup is held every March in Sweetwater, Texas.
Sweetwater is in West Texas and you can participate if you like. I think I will just stay home. Love to see them from a distance not so much up close. I have had several close calls with them. Most recently a 6 foot monster on the side of a country road on my way home. Appreciate them but don't want them too close to home.

Alan Kirkpatrick Between the rattlesnakes, scorpions, Gila Monsters, illegal aliens, and... Oh yes,Texas Belles driving fast cars. Yup; Texas does have everything a man wants in life! I wonder if after the round-up, people see a spiked increase in rodent activity? Do the snakes really taste like chikin?
