The Town of Castle Rock is located about 30 minutes (29 miles) South of Denver and enjoys a small population of 51,348, which has inched up about 1,000 per year. The Castle Rock real estate market for the month of March reflected an increase over February's sales, showing the spring buying season is in full swing. Sales increased from 139 sales in February to 156 in March
Days on Market decreased from 24 to 9 days
Average Price increased from $395,000 to $397,260
List Price/Sold Price increased from 99.41% to 100%
There was no short sales sold nor any bank owned foreclosures sold.
(Distressed sales are very minimal as home values have increased substantially over the last couple of years.)
