I have not tried the referral portion of AR yet other than I would just look at a town and see if there was an agent there who comments on my posts. That has worked pretty well for me David Baker Laveen Realtor & South Phoenix Realtor 

That is great to hear. I tried conatcting somebody with an address in a different state, but maybe they are not so active. Maybe I should post my referral, rather trying to reach out. Thanks for sharing this.

I was one of the people that received the referral and wish it had been closer to my area. I'm so glad you reached out though, even if I'm not the agent assisting your client. Posting is awesome. I've had luck using this.

I agree that AR has great referral potential. I have given and received several.

Active Rain is a great place to network with other proffesionals.  Thanks for the post.

As an agent who has received referrals, my last referral actually said, "No wonder it's called ACTIVE rain - you all are ACTIVELY working and recruiting and I love it!!!"  

I've given out 3 referrals on AR.  2 worked out great, one was a dud.

Interesting I do not use the referral platform since I have a good relationship with about 300 plus Active Rain Members who follow me and  I follow them I reach out directly to them when I have a referral to give or someone in my office is looking for a referral....Endre

I've had mixed results with AR referrals.  But it's the best resource I know

Glad you had good results. I haven't used that portion of AR in eons.

AR is a terrific source of great agents, lenders and other RE professionals to refer to. I've had the most success reaching out to those I know in certain areas, rather than posting a referral, but either way it works!

I'm not an agent so am not paid referral fees. However, I was able to connect a friend with a top agent in a nearby city. It felt good to be able to put her in good hands. 

Interesting, exciting and rewarding; all in one resource, so, it pays to be in the Rain.

I am glad that worked out well for you.  I prefer the other method … of me finding, and calling. Why?  To see who answers their phone and how responsive they are. 

I have used the referral service as well--always get a quick response!

I have used it in the past. Being part of Re/max is another source. Have to use what works best.
