What is a country estate? As I travel around, I always pick up the real estate ads and news papers and I have found that "country estate" is used in every market, but the meaning is not the same.
As a Broker I would use "country estate" to describe a farm with pastures, long paved drive leading up to a TARA sized home. I would expect barns and the land to be fenced for horses or cows. The opening credits for Dallas would roll over the view. Somethings grand and estate like. No close neighbors and certainly not part of a subdivision.
I recently made a trip two counties over and had sometime to spend waiting on a friend. We drove out to a "country estate" and I was very surprised. The builder/broker needs to read a book or see a tv series to know what a real "country estate" is. I was informed this was a country estate...it has 4 acres and a pool in the back yard. No barns, no pasture and certainly the house was a dissappointment for me. I guess this is what I get when I go looking for TV style "Country Estate" instead of reality "Country Estate".
