One of the things that I learned in my past session of bold is there is no but. Yes, we all have butts and in my world, but is no longer in my vocabulary. I am learning to replace the word but with and. But is a negative word and it negates every word and statement that precedes it even if the words or statement was said in a positive manner. Now that I am cognizant of this, I am amazed at how often folks use this word in everyday conversation.
I have learned that the Universe is constantly listening to our thoughts, self talk and words and delivers to us what we think and say. It is my intention to replace the “B” word with and. I am now making a conscious effort to replace “B” word with “and” and it is making a difference in my life. When I inadvertently use the "B" word, I stop, rephrase and say the sentence correctly.
And that my friends, is my 2￠’s worth for this morning.
