Arrive Early
- The first 100 canines will receive a piece of birthday cake served in a Blue Buffalo bowl.
- The first 1000 guests will receive goodie bags.
- Visit with vendors on the "Mutt Midway."
Operation Kindness, a no kill shelter, is celebrating its 40th year of saving the lives of animals. Over the years, 85,000 animals have been placed in loving homes.
Operation Kindness is a heartwarming place to visit. As you drive up to the building you'll see dedicated volunteers walking dogs. Wagging tails and smiling faces greet you as you walk through the front door. It's clear that the Volunteers who work at the shelter are passionate about animals.
Operation Kindness depends totally on individual donations and proceeds from local fund raising activities. Dog Day Afternoon is one of those activities.
