Needless to say, if one is self-employed in the real estate business, at this time of the year we are busy. Nashville, like many areas is suffering from a severe lack of inventory that some call, “Thinventory”. One of the things that I have learned through my MAPS coaching and one of the quotes keep posted over my desk is, “It’s not about the market, it’s about what you do.” – Gary Keller.
Over the past several weeks I have been doing what top, successful real estate agents do and that is make 20 calls a day to my database. Although, for the most part, most real estate agents databases are their past clients, my database is real estate agents. I have been reaching out to those that I have done business with in the past and those that I want to do business with. It is made a huge difference in my slice of the pie. I do believe it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. And those who know me understand what I am intending to do with my business and they appreciate it.
I do have a goal and a plan. I am working my plan to achieve my goals and I plan my success one step at a time.
And that my friends, is my 2￠’s worth for this morning.
