Winchester, VA Real Estate Market Update - 1st Quarter 2016
The Winchester, VA real estate market continued to post positive results in the first quarter of 2016. The sales volume in nearly unchanged from 2015, but the volume of distressed properties (short sales and foreclosures) have dropped significantly.
The sales volume for the Winchester, VA real estate market in the first quarter 
of 2016 was 313. The sales in the same period of 2015 was 314. The number of distressed properties in 2016 was 34, or 11%. During that same period in 2015, the distressed sales were 53, or 17%.
