Tulips and Lunch at Longwood Gardens

On Saturday, Dolores and I took a day trip to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA to enjoy and photograph the spring flowers. The highlight of the visit was the huge selection of tulips. It is a very good time for a visit.

We enjoyed lunch at The Terrace at Longwood Gardens. The mushroom soup was wonderful. Keep in mind the south eastern Pennsylvania is noted for their mushrooms. Our beverage was 60 Minute IPA from Dogfish Head Brewery. The dessert was peach crisp. Life is good!

Roy - that is a delightful narrative added to a beautiful photo...that is nostalgia for me. I used to live in SE PA (The Main Line) not too far from Longwood Gardens. i still rememeber taking my wife there for the first time...and we ate lunch at the Terrace... that was in the Spring of 2001...I still rememeber the gigantic floating lotus pads!
