MESA COUNTY COLORADO REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE MARCH 2016
March 2016 sales volume came in about 42% higher than February at a total volume of $83,343,609. This level of volume is nearly twice that of the average volume level for March sales for the years 2010 through 2015 which is showing an average volume of $44,453,663. The average residential sales price in March 2016 went up slightly to $232,115 and the March median price was down slightly to $189,900.
March sales show that 35% of transactions were cash which indicates a continuing heavy investor market. We are also seeing some fast and competitive movement in many of the price ranges. There are currently 884 active residential listings here on the Western Slope and our MLS is showing that there are another 519 residential listings that are PENDING!
