OH, but how boring your life will be without all of these people grabbing at you virtually in every way possible. But, I guess there's only so much of Ron and Alexandra to go around.

When I got an automated call from Costco last night (and don't get me wrong, I love Costco) telling me that their records indicated that we had purchased a particular item on a particular date and the item was being recalled, it struck me that there is nothing private any more. I use g-mail and get very little spam, but this is excellent info.

I don't have much trouble with Spam but those telemarketer calls are a pain. I just don't answer anymore and let it go to voice mail. 

I have been getting a seemingly ever increasing amount of spam as well lately.  Not sure why but I don't  even know where to start to get rid of it.

Hi Ron & Alexandra - Our ISP offers a free and very good spam filter. The only problem with it is that it isn't perfect, so I still have to go into the spam folder to see if anything I need got stuck in there. Have a great weekend.

Alexandra, This is great news and I will buy this spam stop program for my Mac and PC's. I can tell you I get a lot of similar stuff every day. My Email in box is unmanageable. 

We like wine best of all like you do. Yolanda does make some killer Margaritas being blue in summer and cranberry at the holidays.

My spam folder was filling up with hundreds every other day. I don't know what my husband did, but I put him in charge and I only get 1 or 2 a day now. They can be so annoying!

Thank you for the tip! Sometimes I spend moe time deleting unwanted stuff than reading.

Alexandra I spend probably an hour or more a day on deleting spam... needless to say part of it is I keep a low threshold because one time I found in my spam folder a $2million dollar buyer and that made me pause and decided let me be the one who deletes the emails vs an algorithm...Endre

I have been systematically blocking these emails over the last year and finally they are few and far between. I am glad to know of this solution if they start up again.

Sounds interesting.  I wonder if it works on a Microsoft hosted exchange server.  I'll go and check it out.

Thanks for the tip!  I'm on a Mac as well and spam of the kinds you mention isnt really a problem.  I do have to unsubscribe daily from some agent's listing annoucement, local or elsewhere.  Hate those!
