Rainers, I've got a challenge for you.

We've all had that bad agent that really made a deal tough. We could go on forever talking about this one or that one. I even wrote about a few examples this morning, but here is my challenge.

I challenge every Rainer to write a blog post about an agent that has really been great to work with. Even if he/she is a competitor, let the world know that there are great people in the business and the odds of them finding one are higher than finding a bad one.

OK, what do you say folks? Can we do it? It can be a local market agent, an agent in your office, a Rainer you've worked with or just someone you admire that has be a privilege to work with. Let's show the world that the good outweighs the bad.

Mike, I've just done two deals this year with the same agent from C.B. and would do tons more given the opportunity.  I'm not a recruiter typically, but I've made a pitch to her to join our office.  A real pleasure to work with.  Fortunately, MOST I do deals with are good to work with other than a few needing some tweaking on communication skills or attention to detail.  Bill

Hopefully, she'll join up with you all. That would be awesome.

I hesitate to even comment here as I like to keep things leaning toward good and positive.  In my market, based upon my experience, the odds of finding a bad agent are far greater than finding a good one. I am so disgusted by the unethical and untrained agents I've thought of leaving the business.

I'm really sorry to hear that, Kathleen. How disappointing, and frustrating, not to mention making a tough job tat much more difficult

I've had a number of agents in the last several years that were wonderful to work with and made it all such a pleasure, even when issues cropped up.

Have there been some bad ones? Yep, but for me more good ones than bad.

Hi Mike.  I try to keep things positive.  There are some great agents out there. They are not the majority.

Good mornign Mike.  In our area we have about 1.500 agents.  Out of those I can only think of about 3 who I do not enjoy working with.  Not bad, not bad at all.

Hi Mike Cooper , I love this idea. Sure we have all had the unfortuate experience but if the truth is known as it should be, most, by a large majority, are good experiences and one where cooperation to accomplish the deed is the norm. Great suggestion!
