As a graduate of CSP (Canadian Staging Professionals), I feel that continuing education is a benefit when starting a new business. Just recently I attended a conference in honour of International Women's Day, a day of global celebration in recognition of how much women have achieved. I believe that if you dream of owning a successful business or are looking for new ideas to grow that business, then we should be providing ourselves with opportunities to motivate or inspire growth for that business.
During this conference, enterprising women delivered a unique combination of women-to-women practical business advice and insiders tips to market a new business; learning the art of negotiations and public speaking for success. Image consultant Nadia Baboo spoke about image factors; Renate Weiler, author of Get a Grip spoke about just one more stroke - enriching your life and grow your business and the third speaker, Louise Smith spoke about six ways people listen.
I found this conference to be an excellent opportunity to explore issues of mutual concerns and build business relationships.
