Happy Mother’s Day 2016 from Katy Texas
I want to wish all the Mom’s out there to have a special Happy Mother’s Day and this includes Moms, Grandmothers, Great Grandmothers, Step Moms, Non-related Ladies who are surrogate Moms, Aunts who are like a Mom, etc. . Y’all get the idea. If you have not yet contacted your Mom try something most folks don’t do very much these days by calling her. Save this text nonsense or email for your bro’s or sisters. If she lives close enough to you go visit her, take her to dinner and make sure you tell her how much you love her. Those gifts will mean more to her than some store bought item. If you can afford it buy some pretty flowers plus a very nice card and give them to her in person. Many Mom’s want time from loved ones which they cherish instead of material things.
Happy Mother’s day to my wonderful and beautiful wife Miss Yolanda. She is the center of my world and I love her more each year.
As I said in an earlier post, my Mom passed away over 30 years ago and I still miss her every day. I wish she was here so I could hug her and tell how much I love her. My mother-in-law passed away a over six years ago and our whole household still mourns her passing. There is never a dry eye when we visit her grave. Yolanda misses her Mom to the point where I cannot even put words to express the situation as those words would do no justice. Frankly, it never gets easier even as the years pass so quickly.
The point is Mom’s are here one day and then they pass away. Many folks never take the time to make sure she knows how special she is to you. People sometimes do not realize what they have until it's gone. Don’t let that happen to you..
