…And Happy Mother’s Day! It was a little on the slow side for condos, with 5 new listings but only 1 new escrow. Homes fared very well with 5 new listings and 4 new escrows. Here is your update:

Kaiulani 67 is newly listed for $809,999. The unit was purchased for $695K in 8/13.

Kaiulani 22, priced at $1.975M returns to the market. The last sale was from the developer in 11/07 for $1,758,070. It was listed most recently from 8/15 to 1/16 for $1.975M.

Hanalei Bay Resort 1105/06 is newly listed for $515K. The condo was purchased in 12/07 for $485K and was previously listed from 11/08 to 5/09 for $569K.

Alii Kai 5202 is now listed for $649,957. It sold for $405K in 7/03 and was listed previously from 9/06 to 2/07 for $1.195M and from 8/09 to 12/09 for $874K.

Villas of Kamalii 35 is listed with a price of $699K. It was listed previously from 2/15 to 10/15 starting at $749K and ending at $699K. The last sale was for $665K in 5/08.

Contingent:

Apparently Alii Kai 6103′s list price of $624,957 is this sellers lucky number, as this unit went into escrow two days after a price reduction. The seller bought this unit in 12/11 for $354K.

Sales:

Hale Honu 1B finally closed for $260K cash while listed for $255K. The prior sale was for $60K in 5/84.

Hanalei Bay Resort 5303/04 sold for $800,500 cash with a list price of $890K. The seller paid $349K in 7/00 for the unit.

Price Changes:

After a reduction of $20K, Emmalani Court 314 is now priced at $599K. The last sale was for $341,900 in 6/11. Now on to your Princeville single family home update:

Purchased in 7/10 for $550K, 3781 Milimakani is on the market priced at $679K. This home was listed from 4/08 to 12/08 starting at $825K, and going as low as $699K before ending at $750K.

5109 Iolani is listed for $895K and last sold for $895K in 10/05.

Built in 07, the golf course home at 5254 Honoiki is priced at $1.699M. The prior sale was for land in 1/06 for $585K.

Contingent:

4160 Kalani Place, with a list price of $899K, went into escrow after 269 days. The seller bought this home for $885K in 11/04.

Priced at $1.595M, 4076 Kekualike found a buyer after 153 days. The last purchase of this property was in 12/06 for $1.525M.

5063 Kapiolani loop is in escrow after 140 market days priced at $1.769M. The last sale was for $1.3M in 6/12.

Expired:

After 312 days, while priced at $1.250M, 4133 Rooke Place expired. Thes sellers bought land in 6/03 for $323K. The home was built in 04.

Withdrawn:

After being on the market 84 days, 4939 Emmalani drive, which last sold for $278K in 3/97, was withdrawn while priced at $849K.

There are many wonderful venues throughout the Island where you can celebrate Mother’s Day. For any occasion, or just for the fun of it, I always enjoy the Marriott on Kalapaki Bay. If I’m in town and want a great location with ono food, my choice is often the Barefoot Bar at Dukes. Along with the food, the view equally enticing. For a full course meal, Duke’s restaurant is a must.
