Work. Sometimes it is one of those despicable 4 letter words and it is a part of life. As I have become more aware of the “BOLD LAWS”, it seems as if a new one jumps out at me every week. Although these are nothing new and many are rehashes of other quotes, I am still grateful for them as they do help keep me focused.
As I go through my morning routines, especially the ones that start my day, I am becoming more aware of how work expands to full the time I have allotted. It seems as if I start one project and before I realize it, twenty more seem to creep in from the crevasses of my mind. It can become overwhelming. I just take a deep breath, let it out and say, “I will do what I can do. The rest can wait.” Reminds me of the late Steven Covey’s takes on the urgent. For me, it goes back to finding balance.
And that my friends, is my 2￠’s worth for the morning.
